It's almost time to welcome the new year. Mirrors will rev up the party glitz and glam.
Now that Christmas is over, all thoughts are turning to the future. And the immediate future is figuring out how to best celebrate the start of the future year. If you’re hosting a party – whether it’s just for two or for 200 – the emphasis (as it always is this time of year) is on shimmer and shine. Just click on any site that gives advice on throwing a successful New Year’s Eve party and you see the adjectives: Glitzy. Glam. Dazzling. Sparkling champagne. Glowing candles. Glittery party hats.
One easy way to amp up the sparkle is to use mirrors. Mirrors themselves are shiny and glittery. But, better yet, they reflect the sparkle and shimmer from all your other decorations. The reflection not only emphasizes the glitz, it magnifies it – a row of 10 glowing candles suddenly becomes 20 if you look in the mirror. Put two mirrors opposite each other and you have row upon row upon row of lighted candles sparkling into infinity. Or try mirror tabletops. Then you have the candles and their reflection making the whole room glow.
The best thing – the mirror will still be there, adding its own sparkle to your new year long after the candles have burned out and the glow from the party has faded away.
The best place to find mirrors to help you multiply the glitz and sparkle in your home is, of course, Don’s Mobile Glass. We’ve been supplying mirrors and other residential, commercial, decorative, architectural and auto glass products to the Central Valley for more than 50 years. With offices in Modesto, Manteca, Turlock and Merced, we’re always close by to help customize glass to provide the biggest oomph to your home or business. And, if you’re thinking that you don’t need any mirrors because you’re going out to one of the many New Year’s Eve celebrations in the area ... think again. You want to sparkle as well. And how better to know that than one last glance in a mirror as you sweep out the door?
